Many issues discussed in this section are just guidelines, and the specific policy each tutor has will be discussed with each client upon contact.

Booking & Scheduling

Each tutor manages their own schedule and availability. Once a lesson has been booked, any questions, changes, or communication regarding that lesson should be directed to the individual tutor. If the tutor requested by a student is unavailable, we may offer the option of scheduling the lesson with another available tutor.

Cancellations & No-Shows

We require at least 24 hour notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Cancellations made with less than 24 hour notice, as well as no-shows, may result in the student no longer being eligible to book tutoring services with us.

Late Arrivals

Students arriving more than 15 minutes after their scheduled start time will forfeit that lesson time slot. The lesson will not be extended or rescheduled due to late arrival.

Payment

Payment is made in person after the completion of each lesson. Students are expected to provide payment immediately following their session.

Harassment, discrimination, bullying, inappropriate behavior, or disrespectful communication will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to end tutoring services if a student or tutor engages in serious or repeated inappropriate conduct.

Our goal is to help students understand and succeed in their coursework while maintaining academic integrity. Tutors provide explanations, guidance, feedback, practice, and support to help students develop their own skills and understanding.

Tutors will not complete assignments, tests, exams, or other academic work on behalf of a student. Students are responsible for submitting their own work and following the academic integrity policies of their school or institution.

Tutoring should be used as a learning resource, not as a replacement for a student's own effort.
